Professional career

Prof. Pavel Ventruba is one of the most prominent figures in Czech gynecology and reproductive medicine. He is one of the pioneers of assisted reproduction in the former Czechoslovakia and participated in the first successful IVF cycle that led to the birth of a test tube baby.

During his career lasting over 35 years, he focused on the treatment of fertility disorders, reproductive endocrinology and surgical gynecology. For many years, he worked as the head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University and the University Hospital Brno.

He has published more than 200 original scientific studies, realized dozens of research projects and delivered hundreds of lectures at professional congresses at home and abroad. He actively participates in the activities of scientific councils, research agencies, editorial boards and professional committees.

Prof. Pavel Ventruba works at the V CLINIC as a professional guarantor and specialist in aesthetic gynecology.
