Breast modeling
This is a procedure performed to improve the shape of the breasts by modeling them. The breasts are lifted and their shape is adjusted. The aim is to achieve a more youthful and perfect appearance to the breasts. The procedure is suitable for women who are not satisfied with the size or shape of their breasts but have enough breast tissue (mammary glands) from which the breasts are modelled. The shape and also the size of the breasts often change, for example after breastfeeding, after significant weight loss or due to gravity. The procedure can also address breast asymmetry. Breast modeling is ideal if you are no longer planning a pregnancy, after which the mammary gland changes, i.e., the shape of the breasts could change for the worse again. At the same time, we recommend at least a six-month break from the last breastfeeding. The ability to breastfeed after breast modeling depends on the chosen surgical technique.

Description of the surgical procedure
Consultation
An initial consultation is a very important part of the surgery. The client tells the surgeon why she has decided to undergo the procedure, and the surgeon explains what she can expect from the procedure and discusses all the options with her. The size of the breasts will be adjusted according to the proportions of the body and chest.
Before the procedure
Before each surgery, it is necessary to assess the overall health of each client. Preoperative examinations for general anesthesia are performed by a general practitioner or internist.
The procedure
We distinguish between three basic types of breast modeling according to the resulting scar:
– periareolar modeling – this method is used to correct mild breast sagging, and the resulting scar is placed only around the areola.
– vertical modeling – a suitable method for correcting moderate breast sagging, the resulting scar is located around the areola and vertically downward to the inframammary fold;
– classic modeling – this method is used to correct significant breast sagging, the resulting scar is shaped like an inverted T (known as an anchor).
At the end of the surgery, the surgeon inserts surgical drains as needed to remove excess fluid from the body. The resulting scars are determined by the surgical technique used.
After the procedure
After the procedure, the scars are covered with a plaster, and the breasts are wrapped in a sterile bandage. After the surgery, the client is hospitalized at our clinic for one day. Before discharging the client, we change the bandage and provide the client with an elastic bra, which she will wear for six weeks. The first check-up takes place approximately one week after the surgery. A proper rest regimen is essential for the first two weeks after the surgery. After a two-week period, it is possible to return to normal office work. Sports can be resumed after six weeks at the earliest. We recommend sleeping on your back for one month after the surgery.
The stitches are absorbable, but we usually remove any remaining ends during the check-up which takes place two weeks after the surgery. Usually two weeks after the surgery, the client starts doing gentle pressure massage on the scars and applying silicone cream to them. The scars are less visible after two weeks and barely noticeable after a few months, but it is important to take care of them. Pressure massage should be performed twice a day for several months. The postoperative care bag that the client receives from us after the operation contains all the necessary medications and creams.
The next check-up will take place six weeks and three months after the procedure.
Risks
No surgery is completely risk-free. However, these risks are minimized by a skilled and experienced surgeon, adherence to preoperative instructions, and conscientious postoperative care. The client is informed of the most common surgical risks before the procedure.
Frequently asked questions and answers
Scars are an inevitable part of the procedure. They are most often located around the areola, vertically downwards and possibly in the inframammary fold (so-called “anchor”). However, they are placed in such a way that they are as unnoticeable as possible and gradually fade.
The modeling technique is chosen by the surgeon based on the extent of breast sagging and individual anatomy. The selection is made during a personal consultation, where the difference between the individual techniques is clearly explained.
After the procedure, changes in the sensitivity of the nipple and areola may occur. The return of sensitivity is usually gradual, taking weeks to months. In some cases, sensitivity may not be fully restored.
Significant changes in body weight can affect the appearance and shape of the breasts – tissue may become loose again, change in size or become asymmetric.
The price of the procedure includes general anesthesia, the surgery itself, hospitalization, postoperative medication, a post-surgery compression bra and all post-operative care, including check-ups.
