Preservé Method
Preservé is a modern method of breast augmentation using ergonomic silicone implants under local anesthesia with maximum emphasis on gentleness and minimal invasiveness. The name “preservé” (to preserve, to keep) captures the essence of this method – preserving the natural anatomy of the breasts to the greatest extent possible.
Simply put, a breast implant is placed in the space between the gland and the pectoral muscle, providing volume mainly where it is most needed from an aesthetic point of view – in the upper inner quadrant of the breast. Compared to an implant in standard augmentation, this implant is approximately 2–2.5 cm narrower, and thanks to this, the fibrous connection between the gland and the chest muscles remains preserved around the entire circumference of the breast.
The procedure is suitable for women who are not satisfied with the size or shape of their breasts. Breast augmentation can also resolve breast asymmetry. Breast enlargement with silicone implants does not affect the ability to breastfeed.

Description of the surgical procedure
Consultation
An initial consultation is a crucial part of the surgery. The client tells the surgeon why she has decided to undergo the procedure, and the surgeon explains what she can expect from the procedure and discusses all the options with her. The size and shape of the implants are chosen according to the proportions of the body, chest and breasts.
Before the procedure
Before each surgery, it is necessary to assess the overall health of each client. Before augmentation using the Preservé method, we require an internal preoperative examination as for general anesthesia.
The procedure
Breast augmentation combined with breast modeling is performed under general anesthesia and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. The breasts are modeled, the surgeon inserts breast implants under the mammary gland, under the pectoral muscle, or partially under the pectoral muscle, and excess skin is removed. The areola is placed in a suitable position and can be reduced if necessary. Implants are most often inserted by the surgeon through an incision in the inframammary fold or around the areola. There are also other approaches, such as through an incision in the armpit. At the end of the surgery, the surgeon inserts surgical drains as needed to remove excess fluid from the body. The resulting scars are determined by the surgical technique used.
After the procedure
After the procedure, the scars are covered with a plaster, and the breasts are wrapped in a sterile bandage. After the surgery, the client is hospitalized at our clinic for one day. Before discharging the client, we change the bandage and provide the client with an elastic bra, which she will wear for six weeks. The first check-up takes place approximately one week after the surgery. A proper rest regimen is essential for the first two weeks after the procedure. After a two-week period, it is possible to return to normal office work. Sports can be resumed after six weeks at the earliest. We recommend sleeping on your back for one month after the surgery.
The stitches are absorbable, and we usually remove any remaining ends during the check-up two weeks after the surgery. Usually two weeks after the surgery, the client starts doing gentle pressure massage on the scars and applying silicone cream to them. The scars are less visible after two weeks and barely noticeable after a few months, but it is important to take care of them. It is advisable to do pressure massage twice a day for several months. The postoperative care bag that the client receives from us after the operation contains all the necessary medications and creams.
The next check-up will take place six weeks and three months after the operation.
Risks
No surgery is completely without risk. However, risks are minimized by an experienced surgeon, compliance with preoperative instructions, and conscientious postoperative care. The client is informed of the most common risks before the surgery.
